Getting Technical

America is facing a major labor shortage across every industry. According to the Department of Labor, there are many more job openings than there are job-seekers. As of 2019, the Baby Boomer Generation accounted for a quarter of the entire workforce. As Boomers continue to retire at a rapid pace, the next generation of workers have become very difficult to find. Consequently, it is critical for every organization to find new leadership in order to survive in the new economy. This growing demand for specialized talent has greatly exacerbated the need for technical recruiting.

Learn About Lakeside

The origin for the name “Lakeside Technical” derives from our location near Lake Erie and our initial business with technical trades. Lakeside was formed as a result of the major skills gap in the workplace and high demand for talent among growth companies following the Great Recession. Our pursuit is to represent the best talent in the labor pool while partnering with the highest-performing companies in the US.

We offer a unique selling proposition, direct-recruiting the traditional way. Through research and client development, we identify company needs in-person. Candidates are recruited based on a passive approach with a mutual growth strategy. In the end, our desire to be trustworthy and to offer genuine solutions is what means the most. The job is not easy but the mission is simple, we help companies find their most important asset… YOU.”
